In March 2023, b.glen Japan entrusted me with the task of taking over the official Instagram account, @bglen_official. They felt that the existing content was misaligned with the brand's image and goals, contributing to a steady decline in followers and engagement. The account was primarily sharing static photos, even though Instagram’s algorithm had long favored dynamic content formats like carousels and reels.
Project Goals:
Realign the Instagram account to reflect and reinforce b.glen’s brand identity.
Diversify content by leveraging Instagram’s full suite of features, including reels, carousels, and stories.
Foster a sense of community and belonging among followers.
My Role:
I was given complete creative control over the account's theme, visuals, and content strategy. From ideation and brainstorming to execution, I owned each project and campaign from start to finish. My approach included creating:

Informative carousels that highlighted product benefits and usage.

Engaging reels using trending formats and sounds to attract a wider audience.

Interactive stories to boost engagement and collect feedback directly from followers.
Results:
Through the efforts illustrated above, I successfully increased engagement, reach, and follower count. Reach increased by 300%, and engagement increased by 1000%, and the number of total followers is on a constant rise.
This new strategy also enabled us to gather valuable insights from customers, helping to build a loyal community around the b.glen brand.
